#1198: Why hasn't Jesus come back yet? | 2 Peter 3 | Psalm 80 | Jeremiah 33 | Psalm 147

#1198: Why hasn't Jesus come back yet? | 2 Peter 3 | Psalm 80 | Jeremiah 33 | Psalm 147

What we talk about less — and probably should talk about more — is Jesus’ return. In fact, Jesus’ return is part of Peter’s argument for why we should live lives full of hope. Interestingly, today you’ll hear Peter mention why Jesus hasn’t returned yet.

#1190: What good would a robotic God be? | James 5 | Jeremiah 18-20 | Psalm 79

What good would it be if God was like a robot? This might seem like a weird focus question for the day, but it not only relates to something we’ll read today as we finish up James, it also might be an interesting concept for you to use when you talk to someone else.

#1188: What's the consequence of envy? | James 3 | Jeremiah 14:19-15:21 | Psalm 77 | Proverbs 15:28-16:16

#1188: What's the consequence of envy? | James 3 | Jeremiah 14:19-15:21 | Psalm 77 | Proverbs 15:28-16:16

Favoritism can go any direction.

Today is related…and our focus question is, “What is the consequence of envy?"

#1185: How does Nietzsche affect you? | 2 Corinthians 12-13 | Jeremiah 10 | Psalm 76

#1185: How does Nietzsche affect you? | 2 Corinthians 12-13 | Jeremiah 10 | Psalm 76

How does Frederich Nietzsche still affect you? Something he’s famous for is A) in direct opposition to the gospel and B) very much still an influence in the world and, sadly sometimes, the church.
