Intro:
Quick shoutout to new listeners and subscribers, glad you’re here. It won’t take long to figure out that we’re conversation around here just like if you and I were sitting down to a cup of coffee and reading the Bible together. Truth be told, a 1000 episodes in I just changed up the format at the beginning of the year and am still figuring out what the weekend edition will consistently look like. But my heart is that of teacher, evangelist, and apologist, which means that we’re always pointing it all back to Jesus, we’re not afraid of any questions, and we’re gonna keep it real because life is real and messy and not like some perfect voiceover script.
As I reminded you yesterday, Genesis 12-50 is in three big buckets about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That said, the “house” or lineage is included in that, and as today kicks off the Jacob part, it won’t take long to figure out that we’re talking about his descendants right away.
So, let’s get after it, shall we?
