Lead:
Today, the Ten Commandments, some really weird rules, and an exhortation to what it looks like to be a Jesus follower.
Intro:
Back when we had a different show format (like last year), I would often tie in some teaching that was adjacent to what we were reading. And such when we went through Ephesians the last time. It started with a bit given the hooky titles Christian Atheists, Uniformity versus Unity, and Honoring the Dishonorable.
Now we don’t have time to do that same kind of thing, but I’d reeeeeally encourage you to catch that series. It’s three episodes long and walks through a series of ideas that are important in today’s world and relate to the way Ephesians is often misrepresented in conversations. Go to forthehope.org, click search in the upper right, and find today’s show, 1018, and I’ll have links to those three episodes on that page.
