Lead:

Jesus on trial before Pilate; Gideon is used by the Lord and is still an idiot.

Intro:

If you’ve been with me any period of time, you know that I hate stopping right in the middle of a story. Indeed, part of the purpose of this podcast is to read broader swaths of Scripture so we catch the narrative.

That said, this week I’m going to mix things up a little so as to make that happen, including moving the Psalms to the end of the show just for today.

In Luke today we hit the part of the story where, now that Jesus is in Jerusalem, the trouble really begins. At the same time, we’re on the cusp of one of the greatest moments in the history of the cosmos…at least in terms of the BIG narrative is concerned.

Speaking of the resurrection…given that Easter is but a few days away, one thing you’ll notice on the website is a new “topics” page. I’ll probably rename it as it develops, but it’s an index page with a few topics, one of which is apologetics. So…if you’re so inclined to listen to more stuff about the resurrection, find the “topics” page under the “about” menu and scroll down.
