Focus Question:

How does God use your afflictions?

Intro:

If you’ve been listening to this podcast awhile you’ve heard me use the phrase “ministry of showing up.” And what I mean by that is that wherever you are, you are the temple of the Holy Spirit…and in some crazy way part of God’s plan includes using broken weirdos like me.

Relatedly, today’s focus question is based on one of my favorite encouragements in the Bible: How does God use your afflictions?

If you’d like to hear an old episode about the ministry of showing up and one way God used my sordid past to minister to someone else, go to today’s show notes — episode #1175 — and you’ll find a link there.

And you should know — today I didn’t get as much time to prepare, so we’re just otherwise going to read. May you — and God — be blessed by our time together.
