Visions and oracles, oh my!
Intro:
Haggai, who we read yesterday, wasn’t the only prophet to the Israelites that were slow in rebuilding the temple. BUT (and it’s a big but), as The Bible Project points out in the accompanying video, reading Zechariah is a wild, non-linear ride.
So as you often hear me say, let’s just sit at the feet of Jesus and imagine he opens the old testament scrolls, and listen. And may the Spirit hide these things in our hearts until He grants us understanding.
