Lead:

What’s the difference between good wisdom and bad wisdom?

Intro:

So…if the book of James is like the proverbs of the New Testament, and proverbs in general are about the right kind of wisdom, then James is likely going to be dropping some wisdom bombs on you. And that couldn’t be truer that it will be today, including the topic of wisdom. Which James delivers, of course, with his gettin’-in-your-business kind of directness.

Yesterday, you will recall, that wisdom began, interestingly enough, with talking about seeing our troubles as God’s means of growing us up and how the evidence for a changing heart is in our actions.

And like yesterday, James will hit on a number of topics which stand on their own in a way.
