Lead:

Some "Christian" statements need to be confronted.

Intro:

In yesterday’s All Our Minds segments we looked at somebody reading their own junk into the Christmas story, and today’s part two of that. Same person, same tweet, more malfeasance. Like yesterday, I’m not going to call him out by name, but there are teachable moments in taking captive the falsehoods they’ve stated.

Would you kindly give a shout out somewhere? Thanks for spreading the Word.

Bible:

Passage: Proverbs 27
Translation: ESV (English Standard Version)
Verses: 27
Words: ~443

All Our Minds:

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. Col 2:8, ESV

Candidate #2: “Christmas is about a child in need receiving support from the wealthy.”

Candidate #3: “Christmas is about God identifying with the marginalized, not the powerful.”

NOTE——

Here I just shortened up my comments (you’ll just have to listen). In short: The wise men came to worship, not donate. And Jesus said he came to seek and save the lost (which is everybody), not only some people.

Wisdom:

Passage: Psalm 147
Translation: ESV (English Standard Version)
Verses: 20
Words: ~328

Love you!
