*** SHOW NOTES (not a transcript) ***
Lead: Powerful lessons for today, albeit in the language of hanging out at your own well…
Intro: As we settle into a couple months of recording on the road, I think the teaching segment of this may just be learning some definitions in the realm of theology, philosophy, apologetics, or something.

Bible segment (read along with The Bible Project):
Passage: Proverbs 4-6
Translation: ESV (English Standard Version)
Words: ~1395
Apologetics/reflections segment:
Physicalism: The doctrine that only physical realities exist and hence that there are no such entities as God, angels or nonphysical souls. Physicalism is often used as a synonym for materialism, but the viewpoints are sometimes distinguished in the following way: materialists believe that only matter exists, while physicalists accept the existence of matter and energy. Some contemporary physicalists define their position in an open-ended way that refers to science. Namely, physicalism is the theory that the ultimate constituents of reality are whatever ultimate particles or entities are accepted by physics. See also materialism. (1)
Wisdom segment:
Passage: Psalm 149
Translation: ESV (English Standard Version)
Words: ~148
