THE DEITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

That the Holy Spirit is God, equal in power, attributes, and glory with the Father and the Son, is clear from many verses of Scripture (see chapter 12).

The deity of the Holy Spirit is indicated by His (1) possessing the names of God, (2) having the attributes of God, (3) performing the acts of God, and (4) association with God in benedictions and baptismal formulas. (1)
