*** SHOW NOTES (not a transcript) ***

Lead:

Solomon begins his prayer with a reminder of today’s word: aseity.

Intro:

Yesterday we read that God blessed Solomon for asking for wisdom…a good thing for us to consider when we are tempted to treat God like a spiritual vending machine!

Today again pay attention to his attitude when he’s dedicating the temple. AND, even though I’ve decided to change up the show so that the stories and instruction are separate from the Bible reading, I’m going to take a stab at having a word of the day so we can add to our knowledge around the Bible reading.

Today’s word: aseity. Listen for this in Solomon’s prayer.
