Lead:

The Israelites cross the Jordan at flood stage…and that means…?

Intro:

Happy Monday to you. Today we get into the book of Joshua. You might recall that what we just finished is called the Pentateuch — the first five books of the Bible — and what the Hebrew Bible called “The Law.” Joshua, then, picks up where that left off with historical narratives.

One housekeeping bit as we hit the week running…I’m working three of the next four weekends, so there’s probably a good chance I’ll use the Saturday segment of the weekend edition for catching up on our Old Testament reading.

That said, let’s get rolling in Luke 15 which, as you’ll hear, is nearly all red words. So let us just pray, “Jesus, speak to me.”
